I
created first envisioned this design in my minds eye for many years before I
finally put my idea to fabric, needle and thread. I wanted to make a quilt for
my husband that represented my love for him.The open pico (center) is where
the love enters into the quilt. The leaves are surrounding the blue ginger flowers,
cradling my love in the gentle
breeze, keeping my love near. The leaves are lifted up and arched, surrounding
my love for my husband.
