In Hawaii, gardeners typically plant cuttings from 4 different varieties of bougainvillea's in one hole. When the plants grow, it appears to be an extraordinary anomaly of nature as a vibrant, multicolored rainbow. As I looked upon the colorful beauty of nature, it provided me with inspiration for this beautiful quilt.
