This quilt represents my passion for swimming in the ocean.
During my many years on Moloka’i, I enjoyed my afternoons with a swim
in the ocean. The dolphins and sea turtles would drift into the calm waters
for an afternoon break from the strong currents that lie beyond the reef.
Those moments in the sea became the most special time, and I have captured
them in this quilt.
